Applications for the CNS 2020 Scholarship Fund are Now Open

Milwaukee (Sept. 1, 2020) – Carvd N Stone has officially opened up the applications to their second annual CNS Scholarship Fund. Wisconsin youth now have the chance to apply for $1,500 scholarships to be utilized towards their dreams and goals.
Three Wisconsin youth will be selected and mailed a check, along with a customized basket painted by local artists, filled with a variety of goods from the Milwaukee Bucks, Funky Fresh Rolls and ANTI Shop. Two Milwaukee creatives will be selected for the Milwaukee Creative Scholarship and will be awarded $1,500 scholarships and one Wisconsin high school senior will be selected for the Wisconsin Student Scholarship and awarded a $1,500 scholarship. All recipients will be invited to a private virtual ceremony to celebrate with their friends and family in late October.
“Wisconsin, specifically Milwaukee, is filled with so much talent and we have to start pouring our resources into them. We have to find ways to keep our talent here and this scholarship is an avenue of that,” said Carvd N Stone Founder Nyesha Stone. “Apply for this scholarship and use it in anyway you feel you need to, to be able to make it to the next day. Use it to make it one step closer to everything you want in life. This scholarship is yours.”

Requirements for the Milwaukee Creative Scholarship: Reside in Milwaukee, be between the ages of 17-25 years old, submit at least three samples of your work, provide a reason for applying and a PDF statement of what the scholarship money will be used for.

Requirements for the Wisconsin Student Scholarship: A Wisconsin high school senior, submit two letters of recommendation; must have been involved in at least one extracurricular throughout their high school career, for at least one semester; planning to attend college; and submit a two-page PDF essay about who you are as a person and what you plan on using the scholarship money for.
