MBRACED CULTURE is Hosting Free Virtual Panels to Help Students Navigate Through College

Class of 2020 has been through a lot and to help ease some of that stress, lifestyle brand MBRACED CULTURE, LLC. is hosting virtual college student prep panels to prepare incoming college students for their college career. The panel is made up of students from colleges and universities around the country and is being moderated by Braylen Stevens, the founder of MBRACED CULTURE.

As a rising senior at DePaul University in Chicago, Stevens understands the life of a college student can be difficult if you don’t have the correct tools knowledge and resources, which is why he put together these panels.

We give students the opportunity to ask direct questions,” Stevens said.

MBRACED CULTURE has already hosted its first panel on June 9, 2020 and will have three more: June 13, 16 and 20.

The first panel discussed general information on how to be a successful college student. According to Stevens, everything that he is providing in the panels is information that has helped him in his college career.

The next set of panels will discuss how to navigate school at a PWI, entering into an HBCU and how to find ways to excel.

It’s easy to get distracted and lose sight of our goals, but he wants to help students learn how to utilize those resources available to stay on track, despite the hurdles in life.

“Explore different ways to prepare for the next journey. You can never be too prepared,” he said. “This is not just a workshop for the present.”

Stevens encourages the community to bring at least two high students to one of the panels. The students do not need to be a senior in order to join in on the conversation.

MBRACE CULTURE is also doing a Twenty for 2020 Pledge that is asking for people to donate $20 to support their 2020 Book Scholarships that they will be awarding during each panel.

Donations can be sent via cash app to $MRBACEDCU. For more information, click here.
